So, I’ve been enjoying yoga lately – a lot – so it’s inspired a few of my daily quote Book of Me pages. I’ve been so into it for Valentine’s Day hubby got me a deluxe yoga mat and a strap for Valentines Day rather than flowers. (Hey, works for me!) All the elements in these three are from Club Scrap. I did a little experimentation with brushes, overlays and screens. The blue-tone altered photo was a happy accident from a sunset silhouette. I hit an action called :angel glass: in my CS3 and didn’t like the effect. So when I deleted the layers of the process, I missed one. But I liked it, so it stayed. I did the masking to create the photo overlays by using a single brush swipe, enlarged as an individual layer. Text styles are just playing around with some installed styles.

Wrestling with a tough decision, on how and when to let my Kiki go. I’ve had her nearly 14 years now, she’s my first cat. But for the better part of a month she hasn’t left the laundry room. She’s either pretty sick or something is freaking her out. I did a layout for my project 365 with her last week. Papers and digital elements are Club Scrap, except the quote word art, which came from the amazing Paulette at Create With TLC.

PSL season at Club Scrap

What’s PSL – it’s Club Scrap’s “Pro Scrapbooking League”. I’m co-captain for two teams somehow this time around … Figured I’d make my teams a little logo of their own. Not that I don’t enjoy the blinkies made by Lori!

Yes, I’ve been working on my projects, preparing for Club Scrap’s PSL and getting my act together while working two jobs … just posting today’s quote of the day/Book-of-Me project for now, I will be doing a three-week catch up closer to the weekend.

This is a Charles Schultz quote (of Peanuts fame) on the new Club Scrap Comics digi kit. 🙂
